Ministry of Culture entrance examinations

What is required in the entrance examinations.

The entrance examination process is organised in two stages and includes practical and written examinations.

Stage 1

  1. Theatre monologue up to 2 minutes
  2. Recitation of a poem or extract up to 1 minute
  3. Song up to 1 minute
  4. Improvisation

Stage 2 (written)

  • History of Modern Greek Literature
  • Theatre History

The school provides applicants with study material.

Scholarships

Entrance-exam results are also linked to the Andreas Voutsinas Scholarships, a programme established when the school was founded at Andreas Voutsinas’s own insistence.
